Are there really people who follow the Orthodox Lent rules? They would seem difficult even for a monk to follow.
Well... Kierkegaard once said that the last Christian died on the Cross, so... :-)
To tell you the truth, almost everyone from the generation of our grand-parents -and earlier- followed them rather strictly... But nowadays, after fifty years of communism, the sexual revolution, secularization, and the over-all ignorance, indifference and apathy relating to spiritual matters, I must say that I have no idea...
