If there truly is a God, whose Son gave His Holy Apostles power to bind and unbind all things in heaven and on earth, and all those myriads of popes, patriarchs, (arch)bishops, cardinals, and priests are their living successors, why are they so utterly powerless in stopping or preventing Russian missiles flying through the air from ever reaching Ukraine and brutally massacring its inhabitants ?
