OK, Mr. Orthodox, what's the deal with Christmas and the orthodox? Explain it to us silly, protestantized Westerners. The media tells us that you "really" celebrate it on January 1 or January 6. Is this a calendar issue or a misunderstanding of how you celebrate it liturgically?
The Slavs use the Julian Calendar, so their December 25th is on our January 7th.
